AUCH HOSPITAL CENTER, AUCH

Inform and prevent to act better

The Auch Hospital Center is organizing a Heart Failure Awareness Day on Thursday, April 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the hospital lobby.

Heart failure is a chronic condition that affects a growing number of people in France. Yet, it often remains underdiagnosed due to symptoms that are sometimes subtle or confused with other conditions. Excessive fatigue, unusual shortness of breath, leg swelling... These signs should raise alarm bells and prompt a consultation.

An event to raise awareness and screening

Faced with this public health challenge, the Cardiology Department team at Auch Hospital and the Primary Health Insurance Fund are mobilizing and offering this day dedicated to information and screening. Healthcare professionals and specialists will be on hand to welcome the public, answer questions, and offer free assessments to identify potential risk factors.

Visitors will be able to benefit from:

– an exchange with health professionals,

– advice on prevention and lifestyle adaptation,

– free screening to assess their heart condition

– information from the Primary Health Insurance Fund as well as the presence of a My Health Space stand.

This event is open to all, with no prior registration required. Whether you are directly affected or simply want to learn more, we invite you to come meet our teams and learn more about this disease, which affects nearly 1.5 million French people.
